On Her Word

Talenna Larethian is a Blood Knight with a temper and Silvermoon City says her uncle is shoving her off on anyone who will take her. Since every door is closed, the one who'll take her is Rhovan Isendril, a void-touched exile holding a crumbling keep on the Ghostlands border. He believes the rumor too, until he rides south unannounced to save her from her own family and she tells him he's wrong. He has every bit of evidence against her. Yet he takes her word anyway.
